How the free plan counts
- A form counts once, the first time you save it as a PDF. Editing it, saving it again or sharing it again later is free, in any month.
- Fill again and templates start a new form, so their first save counts.
- The count restarts on the first day of each month on your device's clock. Unused forms don't roll over.
- Fillstep checks when you open a new form, so you never fill a form and then meet a paywall. Nothing you filled is ever lost.
- The practice form in the app never counts.
Buying and your devices
- One App Store purchase unlocks Pro on iPhone, iPad and Mac with the same Apple Account.
- On Android, Pro is bought on Google Play. Purchases don't move between Apple and Google today.
- No account is needed to buy or use Pro. Restore a purchase on a new device with Restore purchases in Fillstep's settings.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the App Store or Google Play.
Questions and answers
What happens to my forms if Pro ends?
They stay on your device and still open, edit and share. You go back to the free plan's monthly limits for new forms and tools.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone and iPad: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On a Mac: App Store, your account, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for.
Is Lifetime a subscription?
No. Lifetime is a one-time purchase of $19.99 with no renewals.
Do I need an account to buy Pro?
No. The purchase belongs to your Apple Account or Google account, not to a Fillstep account.
