Place text or an image on your pages like a stamp: move it, turn it, set its size, opacity and colour, and choose all pages or a range. Free on every plan, on phone and Mac.

Type text anywhere, add a tick, cross or dot, today's date, your signature or initials, then move, resize or delete them with undo and redo.

Good to know
- Edit PDF adds to a page; it doesn't rewrite text that is already there.
- PDFs shared from the free plan carry a small Made with Fillstep line.
Questions and answers
How do I erase text from a PDF on my phone?
Open Erase text in Tools, pick the PDF, mark the words and tap the eraser. Save the copy when you're done; undo is there if you change your mind.
Can I add a watermark to only some pages?
Yes. Choose all pages or a range of pages before you save.
Can I change the existing text of a PDF?
Not directly. Erase the old words, then type the new ones in their place with Edit PDF.
